Same Deutz-Fahr have extended the VRT series with the new Lamborghini R6.190, which is equipped with continuously variable transmission. The series, which previously consisted of just two models – the R6.150 VRT with 165 HP (121 kW) and the R6.170 VRT with 184 HP (135 kW) – is now extended by the introduction of the R6.190 VRT. The new top model has a 224 (165 kW) engine and is aimed at farmers and contractors who need higher performance combined with continuously variable transmission.
The power is generated by the new DEUTZ 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine type 2012 (TIER III). The motor under the new single piece hood has 4-valve technology, an intercooler and an innovative electronically-controlled high pressure injection system - DEUTZ Common Rail (DCR). The maximum torque of 851 Nm is achieved at an engine speed of 1,600 rpm. Another exclusive feature is the externally cooled exhaust gas recirculation, which considerably reduces fuel consumption and emissions. As with the other Deutz TIER III engines, this engine is approved for use with biodiesel (B100).
The gearbox offers a continuously variable speed range from 0.02 km/h to 40 km/h (or 50 km/h). The machine is controlled by the multi-function lever, with which the driver can change speed and direction, operate the hydraulic lift and activate the hydraulic remote valves. Maximum speed is reached at only 1850 rpm, thus ensuring significant fuel savings, especially when being used for transport.
The new model also has a new control console and the optional iMonitor operating panel, in which the operator can monitor, control, regulate and configure all functions of the tractor. The terminal features a graphical interface and intuitive menu navigation. Changing the settings is child's play, even while working, by simply turning a knob. The new iMonitor also includes a radio, an MP3 player, a Bluetooth hands-free kit and an automatic rear view camera.
The new Lamborghini R6.190 VRT’s hydraulic system also provides maximum performance. It is fitted with a load-sensing system with a 160 l/min pump and can be equipped with up to seven control devices that allow equipment with a number of hydraulic functions to be used, such as seed drills.
